BENEFITS 8.1 Eligibility. All Nurses covered by this Agreement are eligible to participate in the benefit programs enumerated in this Section as the terms for the programs are set forth below, provided that the Nurse meets the eligibility requirements for each plan. The Employer may alter the criteria for eligibility provided that no Nurse who is eligible for a benefit upon the execution of this Agreement becomes ineligible because of the changes. LPCH/CRONA CBA • 4/1/2025 – 3/31/2028 -49- 18.8.2 A Regular Nurse who is granted a leave of absence will be informed on the Leave of Absence Request and Authorization the dates of the Leave, benefit limitations, insurance procedures, and the requirements for and the conditions under which the Nurse may return to work. 18.8.3 At the discretion of the Nurse’s Manager it is not necessary for a Regular Nurse to completely exhaust PTO before a personal leave is granted. 18.9 A Regular Nurse shall not forfeit any accrued benefits during an authorized leave of absence, or accrue any benefits during such leave.
