A differential of ten percent (10%) will be added to the base wage rate for all regularly scheduled “evening” shifts worked; a differential of eighteen percent (18%) will be added to the base wage rate for all regularly scheduled “night” shifts worked. 7.5.4 Weekend Differential. In order to receive such payment in lieu of paid time off, the Nurse must have the accrued but unused PTO necessary to cover the payment at the time the payment is to be made. 2023 Section 19 governs when Holiday Premium Pay is due for the Winter Holidays. The Employer and CRONA agree to the following method for determining when Holiday Premium Pay is due under Section 7.9 for holidays other than the Winter Holidays. This Side Letter documents the parties’ consistent past practices and interpretation. 1. Day Shifts. A Nurse will receive holiday premium pay for the full shift for a day shift beginning on a holiday. 2. Evening Shifts. A Nurse will receive holiday premium pay for the full shift for an evening shift beginning on a holiday. An evening shift, as defined in Section 7.5.2, is a scheduled shift where the majority of hours occur after 2:00 p.m. 3. Night Shifts.
